Is a Digital SLR camera really better to get than a digital? HELP!?
Ok, so im really into photography and i love take modeling type picture with my friends. I want a camera that will give me the crisp images you see in modeling pictures and magazines but not cost me a $1,000. I have 2 cameras in mind and i need help in which one i should get! One is a Cannon powershot 14 Megapixle digital, and the other is a Cannon EOS digital SLR camera but its only 10 Megapixles,(but its about $100 more) Is it worth it to spend the extra 100 on the SLR or should i hold back and get the digital? By all means go for the DSLR Canon. You will want special lenses in the future if you continue with modeling pictures. The DSLR's are built more like a "tank" and will take the added punishment of repeated shots. The larger sensor found in "DSLR's" results in sharper, better qualiy pictures, especially if you might possibly intend to sell your work.
